Today we made it safe and sound to California, and all you get a last minute shot of my in-laws salt and pepper shakers.  Fun and exciting, I know.  I don't expect to have many in-depth pictures over the next couple of weeks, actually. My mother-in-law had hip replacement surgery not too long ago, and hence we're going to be spending more time just around the house to help out than we would otherwise, not that I mind.  After the whirlwind that was Colorado, and before the whirlwind that will be DC, a couple of weeks down time will be nice!
