What do you do the day after Thanksgiving? Why, decorate the tree of course.

Happy Thanksgiving! And a shout out to my big sis on her birthday! (Even though I'm updating this page what, two weeks after the fact?) At any rate. Laura wanted a picture of our entire table and Audrey's place cards that she made and I wanted a picture of our deviled eggs in the awesome deviled egg dish that my grandma gave us for our wedding. So, we all got what we wanted :)

We LOVE the bulk candy here. It's all one price, so you can fill up your bag with a piece of this and a piece of that and finally have a yummy yummy mixture that's all your own. The pink ones on the right hand side that look like the chambers of revolver are my favorites. They're called pistols :) The bottom pic is the awesome awesome sunrise this morning.

This is my favorite shirt of Tim's. To be sure, we originally bought it for Chester, but no matter who wears it, it's still true.

Well, Chester's finally feeling better. He actually ate his ice cream tonight (when he was at his worst he wouldn't even do THAT while he was sick), and he made a tremendous mess, but you know what? I don't really care as long as he's healthy :)

Chester and the rest of the family are doing well enough that Laura sent me to the general session of Stake Conference today (I didn't go yesterday b/c of the family being sick). I tried to get a picture of the chapel on the way out, but it turned out poorly, so you get me stopped at the light at the end of the tunnel (!) on the way home.

The sun was actually shining today for the first time in about 6 weeks. It was wonderful. Laura said, "I don't care how sick we are, we're all going outside!" And so we did. Even Barbie. It was nice to be in the sunlight, though. Chester's medicine also seems to be kicking in, and this is also a good thing.

Oh my awful day. We took Chester BACK to the Doctor's office because he's still running a fever after 3 weeks. They did a whole bunch of tests, including a chest x-ray, and then sent us to the emergency room just in case he had to be admitted. We were there for what seemed like FOREVER until they finally just gave us a different kind of medicine and told us to follow up in a couple of days. A friend let us borrow High School Musical (I know, but Chester loves it) to get us through the interminable waiting. The bottom pic is blurry, but I like it because Chester is camouflaged with the chair.... well, all except his camo boots!

Where's Chester? )

Well, after a long hiatus, I've finally edited a bunch of pics and can start backdating my pad. So, today you get a grand total of one (1) new pic. Enjoy!

Laura gets top billing for today's pic! These are the cupcakes that she made to take into Audrey's classroom for her birthday celebration. A bit belated, to be sure, but what else can you do when the entire family (well, except me) has been sick for the first three weeks of November? I took the bottom pic on the metro.

I've seen a lot of pictures lately that have intentionally been left blurry, for artistic effect or something. At any rate, I decided to try it out tonight with a shot of the metro stop while I was waiting for my bus.

I traveled to Halmstad today for a little overnight business trip. This was taken on the way back to my hotel in the evening. I thought that the purple lights under the bridge were really cool.

I've featured Audj and Chester this month, but not Timmy, so here you have a cute picture of my youngest wearing his bib like a cape.

This picture is taken in honor of my mom's birthday today (Happy Birthday, Ma!). For those of you who know her, this picture makes perfect sense. For those of you who don't, you may be scratching your heads in befuddlement, but you'll just get to scratch.

I actually took a different picture today with work's camera at a work related event, but it got lost in the cybersphere somewhere when I tried to e-mail it to myself. So you get a placeholder - a pic I took on the way home. I always think it's funny when foreign license plates spell words :)

The goal was to take a picture when I went grocery shopping today. This is the display of tube cheeses. You can get shrimp cheese and ham cheese and salami cheese and lobster cheese and crayfish cheese. Yummer.

My grandma is so cute. Because we're living overseas, she tapes Dancing With the Stars for us and sends the tapes so that we can get our American TV fix. I guess we've been watching too much Dancing lately, because we found this drawing in Audrey's room. If you read it semi-phonetically, it's easy to see how "Care & Inobin" is actually "Carrie Ann Inaba." Audrey even drew three paddles, although I don't really think the judges would give a 10, an 11 and a 1 for the same dance!

Not the sharpest of pictures, but a couple cute shots of Chester nonetheless.

Today was Audrey's Birthday!  Poor Audrey.  She was sick for her birthday last year, so we had to cancel her party, and her brothers are sick for her birthday this year, so we had to cancel her party.  We still had fun at home, though.  We hung up all sorts of Hello Kitty stuff, opened presents, ate Princess Tårta, took some birthday portraits, webcammed with the grandparents and had a wonderful day.  As far as the portraits go, the second to last one wasn't posed, I just happened to get her looking like a rocker, and the bottom one is with her new blanket, one of her presents.
